Hey, why not change incredibly awesome artwork to incredibly lame artwork? Wizards has already made thousands of frivolous, unnecessary and counter-productive changes and will make thousands more, so it's not like anyone should be surprised.

Andrew's Occasional Random Card of the Day #14 - 7/11/2011 - Regeneration
One of the many 'keyword cards' that grants a keyword ability to a creature, either for a turn, or as an Aura, permanently. This card and Regenerate, its instant counterpart from M10, cover the spectrum of 'Aura version' and 'instant version', ala Flight and Jump. This one is also interesting in that regeneration isn't technically a keyword, but a keyword action, but I think it could still fit pretty confidently in with the rest of the keyword cards.
While some of the keyword cards have a unique flavor (like Jump or Lance), many of them are simply, "Here's a Lego piece for that keyword—go build a creature." Regeneration, as a mechanic, is flavorful, but this card doesn't add any of its own spice . . . which is fine. The M12 card Trollhide is a slightly more expensive version, whic... (see all)
