Each Time Spiral card was an homage to at least one previously printed card.
This card is referencing Fallen Angel and is part of a cycle referencing the Rancor cycle of auras from Urza's Legacy.

There are cards in Magic that I will never find out about. I'm glad I found out about this one.

This card would go so great with a Breeding Pit and a Thraximundar!

Actually works wonders in a deck I made starring Abyssal Persecutor. It also included some dark rituals, hunted horrors, and some diabolic edicts.

Gives you a Flyer, who can be pumped up, can return to you and then count as playing another {B} spell.
First time I put it in my {(B/G)} deck I won =)

Wonderful win-con in a thalid deck. I test the water with a Mycoloth, tossing a few saprolings in his mouth. If they don't kill him by my next turn, they don't have the kill spell. Mycoloth goes flying with +3/+2 for each counter on him, at minimum. Usually catches them off guard for a flying attacker. And if it does, my Mycoloth test next game is even more accurate, since it becomes a primal instinct to kill it on sight. ;-)
Sure, it a massive set up for card disadvantage. But I can't help it, my inner Timmy has an orgasm if it works.

Put this on a Grave Titan and watch your opponent weep, or cast a removal spell...still sick if it gets through.

I could just imagine this on Ink-Eyes while Nighteyes is in play.
