Whats even better about this is that, unlike Looming Shade, you can use any mana instead of just black... oh and its flying...

I personally believe it's almost always better than Nantuko Shade
It's super splashable because the cost is snow.. so if all your lands are snow... (aside from a few of your manafixing dual lands) it's insane....
Also the flying for 1 extra mana is pretty huge imo.
The only draw back is that you can't use other special lands as easily... but I thin it's pretty great
