I love how the plains in this set look like swamps, and the swamps look like... Scaaaaaaaaaaaary places. .__.

TopRomen, that's why Time Spiral was probably the greatest block to grace the annals of Magic history. Nothing makes a Vorthos, Spike, Johnny or Timmy say "I love you" more than revisiting every place and mechanic in the history of the game, and putting enough spin on each to make it feel new at the same time.

@LateralisOne: Not sure how the flavor aspects of Time Spiral block appeal to the psychographics. I understand how Vorthos would dig it, since Vorthos are players that appreciate flavor, but the rest aren't defined by that. You're just throwing out a bunch of titles and not even using them correctly.
That said, I love Time Spiral lands. They stand out the best admist the art of other sets. Even more now, as I recognize them as the lands I bought for my first deck. I guess that means I have nostalgia for a nostalgic set.

Any plains that looks like a swamp's okay with me.

Each Time Spiral card was an homage to at least one previously printed card.
This references Plains, from Alpha
