actually, if I;m reading it right, it hits opponent, because it says 1 damage to owner, not 1 dmg to controller

Hurts the opponent? Wow, this card just got a whole lot better, cannot wait to see the face of my playing group when I play this and tell them of what I just learned from the internet, now the 6 CMC cost makes sense.

Control Magic + Wanderlust for Black? Wow. Expensive, but what a crippling effect. Awesome EDH card.

@Gaussgoat
one slight difference with this to wanderlust
wander lust reads that the enchantment does the damage, where as this says the creature deals it.
So if the creature has lifelink or infect, it could really start hurting your opponent.

Does anyone else think the art looks similar to the one on Cycle of Life? Yet the cards are nowhere near similar in effect.

Yeah, it hurts the owner, not you (the new controller). But still at 6 mana it's far too pricey...

I'm surprised they didn't print this card earlier, a 6 mana creature grab that hurts you over the turns is not worth it. I would always attack with enchanted creature because I don't want it alive anyway.
Use Treacherous Urge or Slave of Bolas to attack and then sacrifice their favorite creature.

Works great for taking control of someone's infect creatures.

i need a ruling about this card: does a enslaved creature untap when it comes into your control if it attacked in the previous opponent's turn and can you use it right away to attack?
