Argh.
This can be such an annoying card in combo with land destruction, forceful tapping, etc.

This card can cause problems in the early game, when mana is in short supply, however it gets more useless as time goes on, when mana is more plentiful...

There's nice fringe benefit here with anything that just happens to tap lands, since it turns into "2 damage to the player with the enchanted land" if you need it to.

This card actually makes a lot of sense flavor-wise - IF you think about in the context of the land-mana system presented in The Gathering Dark.
