A very handy combat trick to have. For some reason, Charms are always well-costed.

An incredibly versitile, high utility one mana instant. I can find no flaw at all.

@Kelrath
You are aware this was printed in Planar Chaos, right?

What is up with that thumb? It looks... phallic O_O
Good card aside... 5/5

What seems odd about this card is that two of its three effects fit into the domain of other colors. First strike seems much more like a {(R/W)} ability to me, and tap target creature is {(W/U)}.
This really seems more like a black and white card rather than just pure black, supported by the life-stealing first effect.

That's quite a lot of chaos right there. A whole lot of...Planar Chaos.
*Ba dum, tish*
In all seriousness though, I love a one mana combat trick as extensive as this. Beautiful card.

Put it on Isochron Scepter. Cast it for the first option every turn, targeting your Nested Ghoul. Gain a life and a 2/2 zombie every turn for 2 colorless.
