I love to run this card in a mono-red deck...its invulnerable to white color and has first strike... white players will surely cringe against this knight...my favorite knight in MTG...

A red Black Knight. A very good card, 2/2 with FS is good on it's own! But it's even protected from white so that makes it very good! 4/5!

I think red needs pro white way more than pro blue. Pro blue just isn't that good, because it's still prone to countering, and still cant block flying. Pro-white however ignores all the reduced damage from red, prevention and stuff. This card gives Thunderblade Charge a good opening againt white decks.

So awesome, TVTropes named a trope after it.

What? Timeshifted black knight? i would more think Silver Knight, sense most timeshifted cards are oposits.

@ Tobolococo: Platinum Knight would not work. Platinum basicly means 'you cant kill me', such as platinum angle or emporion. Mabey steel, but an artifact version of the night would have to cost more, cause {2} /= {W}{W}, {B}{B}, {G}{G}, or so on.

I just noticed something. Look at that helmet. It covers his eyes. He can't see where his going. Now look at his horse's helmet. It's covering its eyes too. How does this guy not constantly crash into trees and stuff? What the hell, right?

My favourite aspect of this card is how it could be viewed as a colour-shift of either Black Knight or Silver Knight. The flavour text makes it clear it's a reference to Black Knight, but it's fun as the only Planar Chaos colour-shift that could be shifted from either of two cards :)
And of course, it's a very respectable two-drop as well.

In all honesty, though? The original flavor text makes more sense on this card than it did on black knight.

I think it's more likely a colour shift of Silver Knight, because the colour is reversed for the protection as well. I think if it was a colour shift of Black Knight it would have protection from blue. Other shifted cards with secondary colours (such as the costs of activated abilities etc.) follow this pattern.. like with Hedge Troll and Sedge Troll.
