But the Phyrexia duel deck wins every time if played right! How is it a joke :P

What A Great Card I Like The Phyrexian Flavor And I Love Smaller Creatures That Can Be A Little Aggro And Still Draw You A Card. Plus The Art Is Really Well Done. 4/5

Ugh. This card and the others like it are what make the Phyrexia Duel Deck a joke.

Would only be cool if it were a Zombie or now Vampire.

@Treima, what are you talking about? This replaces itself, acts; at the very least; as a chump blocker, and is relatively beefy for it's cost (and color). After all that, it's only so you can splash it into a multicolor deck. This is a damn decent card.

I actually prefer the MBS art but keep these ones in my EDH decks for old times' sake.

This guy is nice filler for throwing out a chump without losing cards, hitting the landrops early on and such. He's no powerhouse but he's always great to have around in decks that can sacrifice and recur creatures. You know, Black decks.

Random Card clicked, time for a review...
I can safely, without a doubt, say that this card is bad pauper trash and your should feel bad for playing it. Not only does it hurt you when it enters, it's weak for its cmc and last I checked, you have to play the card to draw a card, and then it dies which means you're out one card, gain one card: 1 - 1 = 0, that's right zero. You are a zero if you...
But seriously, it's pretty boss. The whole self replacing cantrip or "creaturetrip" thing keeps you able to play much longer than that puny one life would. That said, trading life for cards is just about the classiest thing in black ever, but there's little argument I can make for that. His body isn't too bad, if you look at it as, a grizzly horror plus one mana, one life, one card. But what makes him shine is the fact that he's totally pauper playable.
Rating:
Pauper, yes.
Draft, second pick.
EDH, acceptable placeholder.
