One of the best "screw this color opponent" cards around, imho. Karma can wipe someone out in a few turns.

Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth?
@jon - Silly always worrying about taking damage. I'm prepared to kill myself as long as it kills them faster.

This shows how vicious white is: Karma goes straight to the jugular, when Gloom just goes to the wallet.

Strictly less sexy than Earthbind.

@CeremonialBathory (And Others Who Think His Comment dosen't make sense) Yea, i can see that, u can drop this after a tomb, and your oppnent will take 5-8 damage about. U can even have a Story Circle in play, protecting yourself from the Karma, yea without some sort of protection, urborg + this can be risky, but the combo is doable

"Strictly less sexy than Earthbind."
I dunno, Karma has a gag element that is lacking in Earthbind.
This was the card that killed me in my very first tournament. I had made it all the way to the semi-finals with a classic black deck, featuring Dark Rituals, Hypnotic Specters, Frozen Shades, Sengir Vampires, and even a Nightmare. But where my deadly Shades and Nightmare could be chump blocked by Benalish Heroes and Mesa Pegasus, there was nothing I could do but roll over and die to this evil, evil white enchantment.
