Don't forget you can target yourself, which could be handy in a Polymorph deck. Of course, Black doesn't really have a place in such a deck, but still...

An underated card. Basically: opponent skips his draw phase for two turns. Pretty harsh, really since in the early game the best part about having a turn is your draw. For all those who think it is not that good, just wait till someone plays it on you. It can be quite crippling. 3.5/5.

This is a good card. Missing two draw steps with less cards in your hand to play while waiting for four mana? And I get to choose? Yeah. Hymn to Tourach is a dang good card and it shoots two card at random into your opponent's graveyard for two black. This one costs you a couple more only you get to choose which cards and they skip draw steps. Because you will probably pick strategic cards and they will get them back, I'd rate this on par with Hymn but the flavor and artwork are too good. 4.1/5

Instead of making opponent discard, you force them to put cards on the library, which hinders their time. This is, in fact, an underestimated ability by most. If you can force your opponent to draw cards they already have but couldn't cast (such as expensive cards, or a piece of their combo), it's pretty much as good as getting extra turns for yourself. Don't forget that in an LD deck, this also prevents them from getting to the lands they desperately need.
