This was actually super-useful back in Revised days. It could block those ubiquitous Serra Angels and Sengir Vampires, and it stopped those annoying Hypnotic Specters dead.

WTF? Why is this rated so low? This card saw tons of play in the early years of magic, and a 3/5 flying defender is still pretty damn useful most of the time.
