AAAAAARGHHHH! I hate small abilities on 3/3's. The casting cost is too high. Compare to Sage Owl and take away the top 4 cards abilities. Would you rather have a 1/1 for U1 or a 3/3 Islandwalker for UU3.

This is most likely going to be dropped into a merfolk deck with the banneret, right? Seems to me that she wont cost anywhere near this by the time you draw her.

Useful, but I can think of about six landwalking merfolk I'd rather have. That CMC is a major drawback.

Merfolk is a significantly more relevant creature type.
