As far as "Elves with tap effects," this is one of the more splashy and fun ones. Needs Thousand-Year Elixir or something though, because it's pretty hard to untap with this guy in play. If you do, well, it's a ridiculously strong ability. And yes, uber-combo with Joraga Warcaller.

Yes, they do. It's not a +x/+x until end of turn, she's actually putting counters on the creature so they stay there permanently.

Shock only works on Timberwatch the turn he comes in (and if no other Timerwatches were already in play).
Even if you killed him in responce to him pumping another elf (or he could pump in responce to being shocked), you still have a 20/20 elf to deal with.

How are people rating this a 3? True, it's expensive...but we're talking elves here. With Devoted Druid you can lay out anything you want...with Bramblewood Paragon out, instant huge tramplers...or of course there's always Mercy Killing after a pump (even more fun with Elvish Vanguard in play)...or in my elf deck, all of the above :P edit: Now of course there's Joraga Warcaller...elves are even more insane :P

The problem with this card is that its kinda slow for an elf deck. An elf deck isn't in it for the long game. This takes a while to get the elves to a decent size. i think ezuri is a far better card for elf decks
