Actually, Birth Rite can only return Goblin cards, including non-permanents like Tarfire and Boggart Shenanigans; whereas this card can return non-goblin creatures.
Both fine cards.

It really isn't that bad of a card, a 3/3 body and retrieving any creature that you want back. Of course, better in a goblin deck than anywhere else, it's always fun to get tuktuk the explorer back after he's been killed.
Tuktuk, goblin grenade, this, tuktuk again, goblin grenade again.
If you have the mana, of course. It usually only works over the course of two turns. Throw in a Quest for the Goblin Lord for even more fun.

yeah, it has a really high mana cost, especially for a goblin deck, which should be lots of low costs in my opinion. I just use boggart birth rite, which does the same thing, except for more cards and with the low mana cost of just

This doesnt seem very good for its cost compared to its p/t but if your one and only wort gets killed, it could come in handy, esp when combined with its haste ability.
