This will always be what Island means to me. This is one of the copies of island that were in the 1999 Starter Set, the set that got me into Magic. Playing my brother on my bedroom floor, hoping to draw a Vizzadrix or Lava Axe? Those are great memories.

Also, the art lends itself to nostalgia: faded colors, distant perspective, easy on the eyes? Wonderful.
