Outdone (though only slightly) by Nissa's Chosen in most cases.

Was once quite good, now is below the curve. The power creep is getting out of hand.

Power creep? Here in Talara's Battalion we try not to mention that word.

Eh. If you rely on a turn one Llanowar Elves or Arbor Elf, this card isn't bad so much as it is inconvenient to your mana curve, unless you have another one drop elf.

This is by far my favorite elf card. In the beginning, you don't need as many abilities and it is strong and it just is very good in any elf deck.

Generic elf # 23
I say it's an ok filler in a elf deck only because it's power/toughness is above the curve for 2mana elves.

I would think that for GG you could at least have a 3/3. Nissa's Chosen has its unkillable effect and its a 2/3. Plus, Ravnica's Watchwolf is a 3/3 for GW. This is semi-similar.
