I prefer this cycle over darksteel ingot. With this you can hit mana by turn 3, and thats key verse some reckless aggro strategies.

i love the name of this card. charcoal diamond just sounds... nice. ScatteredMind, its good because it doesnt take up a land play. therefore if played on turn 2, provided you play a land each turn you can get 4 mana on turn 3

Decent, but Coldsteel Heart renders it obsolete in many formats. That said, can we please have a reprint of this cycle in M15 instead of the usual lucky charm junk?
