I never interpreted the art in the background as Thorn Elemental.
Despite the lack of the 'Rhox combat ability' it might be possible.
It would at least explain why it looks so much more like a treefolk.

I like how this card clearly illustrates what it does. That Thorn Elemental in the background is the one you summoned!

I hate elves, but this gets a 5/5 because it features Thorn Elemental.

Tap this and 4 other elves and Vitalize to get 2 tokens in one turn with only 5 creatures.

awesome! especially since many elf decks get loooads of tokens you can get like three elementals a turn. Really really want a couple for my elf deck now...

Should he be a Druid or a Shaman?

If you had two voice of the woods in play, would that produce two token or would you have to tap ten creatures?

@Bankai_Samurai: No, the tapping creatures is part of the effect, in the same way that you can't spend the same mana on multiple spells, so multiples of this guy are redundant (Though it does give you another elf to tap).

I only rated this a three until I realized you can keep making more elementals, this turn or the next.
You should pretty much never be casting this unless you can use its ability right there and then, unless you really, really need a 2/2 Elf to avoid utter calamity.

Yet another card that combos with Intruder Alarm in ridiculous ways. As long as you had at least five elves on the board, you would get infinite 7/7 trampling elementals. And if you can't win with that, well, you should probably just stop playing.
