Turn four, get all your Storm Crows out.
this card is OP
@TJC
I don't think so. You can't use the ability till the spell is over since it resolved. You would have to have it already in play. The only thing I 'think' that gets to resolve DURING the spell is "Come into Play" Abilities.

This isn't even close to "one of the most broken cards of all time." Yeah, the card's strong, but one of the top most broken cards of all time? Heck no, this doesn't hold a candle to the cards that are truly the most broken. In fact, it's barely even played in competitive Vintage or Legacy from what I can tell.

The text on the card does not match what they say it says and now players are saying it works diffrently than what it used to. You have always been able in the past been able to cast all your cards now they say when they do not play a card it stops. Which is wrong. Read the card.

Thisisthedave1, it doesn't work like that at all. Iona, Shield of Emeria prevents your opponents from casting spells of the color you name. Eureka doesn't have anything to do with casting. For better interaction, try Oblivion Ring-type effects and big creatures with comes-into-play effects. Or, you know, most things.

This is a fun old card which allows for a ridiculously powerful effect. It will never see the light of day again, sadly, but it is amusing nonetheless. Combos very well with Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker, though.

With all the new ultra powerful creatures like the eldrazi and planeswalkers that have come out recently, this card went from good to great in a properly constructed legacy or vintage deck. I think the price jump from $30 to $160 since Rise of the Eldrazi came out reflects this.

Hahahaha is that E=MC2 on a magic card? I love the Einstein reference. They did the same thing with Presence of the Master in this same set.

@Teotanek: This does not work with City of Solitude. City of Solitude talks about casting spells or activating abilities. Eureka talks about "putting" permanents onto the battlefield. When you "put" or "play" something onto the battlefield, you are not casting it.
