As Guest1381794618 said this, Repercussion and AEther Flash would make a neat 2-3-4 curve. Why not toss in Hunted Dragon as a sort-of finisher?

This, Repercussion and Aether Flash make a nice 2-3-4 mana curve combo. Throw in some manlands, rituals, and Pyroclasms and you've got yourself a fun little red control deck.

Ok so I have had this deck that people have been talking about for a about a year. And it is fun. Loads of fun is casual. and if it goes off, it really slows the game down, just long enough so you win. Not as good in a multi player match, but it still works, unless they realize what is going on. Here is the list I use.
4 Braid of fire
4 aether flash
3reprecussion
2 Burning Sands
4 Dingus Staff
3 pyroclasm
4 lightning bolt
3 skred
4 searing blaze
4 hunted dragon
4 this
4 forbidden orchard
18 snow covered mountain
Often, you will win sitting with a handful of land. The orchards are nice, nothing like a uncounterable shock, or better, to the face for free, every turn.

Man you can tell they were really focused on creating cards around the flavour back then, and in this case it totally payed off.

I like how the rampage ability actually means that no amount of uppity survivors ganging up could drop them. Rampage is rarely of any conceivable use at all.
Also, AEther Flash.

Hmm, personally my first thoughts were "Double Strike" and "Leyline of Singularity".
Course that leyline's off-color but still.
Or you could just be mean and use double strike and lure. Nemesis Mask, Fireshrieker.

The Grand Creature Type Update apparently forgot about that card: A "Survivor" token?
Being a survivor is a condition, neither a race nor a profession.
What about "Put a 1/1 red Human creature token named Survivor onto the battlefield under an opponent's control." instead?
Aside from that it's a decent card and possibly the only one that can actually make good use of its rampage ability, which is normally a minor advantage.
It's even more fun when used along with Tainted AEther.
Cards like Goblin Sharpshooter or AEther Flash also do a good job with this card to get rid of them.
Play both or add a Blood Seeker or Burning Sands to get your opponent into some decent trouble.

I would play this with something like Festering Evil. No creatures for you.

They need to update the rulings on this card, after M10, according to rule 110.5a Tokens are owned and controlled by the player under whose control they entered the battlefield. I had a Brand deck that used to kick everyone's ass with this card, but now it doesn't work. Just saying, they should've updated the rulings for this card, and I also would love to see a printed Survivor Token card.
