Depends on the meta, really. Early game, you will probably get a couple cards before you can't pay the upkeep cost. Late game, this is where this shines, but by that time you should already have a winning board position. In multiplayer, rhystic study outshines this by far. Also, paying the upkeep cost wastes your mana to no end.

Echoing Truth on an Isochron Scepter. Just re-cast every turn and bounce at the end of your opponent's turn. I say Echoing Truth because...well, they stack :v. Plus, Truth allows you to hose tokens too.

Or Braid of Fire - and with the Braid, you could ramp into an insane Comet Storm or something as a wincon alongside the insane CA Mystic Remora would be generating.
