When used in the right decks it works well. I'm using Yavimaya Dryad in my deck along with some larger creatures, so a way to give them forest walk is great. The lack of a tap in the cost works for me. (using life and limb and a few saprolings keep my mana base well kept).

Slightly more useful than Ivy Dancer, though not as pretty.
