I own 1 of these. It is beautiful but useless. I like looking at it.

Yeah really bad. If your monoblack deck REALLY needs artifact removal...this still sucks unless you happen to mindslaver the foe. Honestly for 4 mana it should destroy the artifact and still do 2 damage to your opponent...
Artwork reminds me of call of cthulu.

Lousy, although black has never been really able to handle artifacts.

Wow, black was never good in destroying artifacts, but that's a really poor Shatter (which again is a mediocre removal card itself).
You have to pay four mana and wait for your opponent's next upkeep until you might even get rid of it, and in case he/she really needs the card taking 2 life instead will be the deal.
Nah, before i'm going to use this i'll splash another color instead.
Lovely artwork nontheless, reminds me of old clas.sical horror films.

I have a hunch this was designed more as a way to deal damage. Double-power Warp Artifact...except the opponent has a way to get out of the situation, if they don't mind losing the artifact. Painful choices, basically, like with Wand of Ith. (Please note that Spike still had yet to be understood as a major demographic at the time.)
