I'd pretty much say this outdoes Voracious Dragon. This guy can eat up all those saprolings you're Mycoloth has been pooping out for turns, but Voracious HAS to eat goblins to burn up you're opponent. Voracious may be better in pure gobo token generation burn, however, between Dragon Fodder, Empty the Warrens, and what-have-you...

I'd still prefer this. Voracious is only better if you make a deck built to make him better.

Fun ability. Occasionally constructed-worthy. Haste and flying is such a potent combination here, all the eggs in one basket, trading each 1/1 ground-pounder's life for 2 points of flying damage. Great finisher at 6mana.

Sacrifice a 1/1 and get a 6/6 flyer with HASTE. ...and that's just sacrificing 1 creature.
Best Dragon yet.

This card is quite possibly the most satisfying devour. The look in your opponents eye when the realize they cant counter or even prevent 20+ flying damage. :D its beautiful

Probably my favorite dragon-- my friends have come to fear the tipping point in games when I play the deck with the dragons: if they can't kill me before I get the 3 red I need to cast my dragon, they're in trouble. Amazing game-ender, fun to play, combos well with several cards in the set.

Very awesome to play when they tapped out to play their djiin of wishes, or something else big :) Catches em off guard, and kicks them in the groin for it hard. Bext devour there is atm.
