He can swing on turn 4, then be unearthed on turn 5. that's 4 goblin tokens, it's not that bad.

@iondragonx
Yes you can sac this to something else and get the tokens but it only works like this:
You attack with this and its not blocked. Then this deals combat damage to player.
Then the triggered ability goes to stack.
Players can now cast instants and activate abilities. This is where you can sacrifice Bomber to something like Lyzolda, the Blood Witch to deal 2 more damage and draw a card.
Then Bomber's ability resolves, you get two goblins and try to sacrifice Bomber but since it's long gone you can't. There is no penalty for it in this case.
And now to the card itself. I'm not really sure if I would play it myself since it has to be sacrificed and the unearth cost is so high. 3/5

Significantly better now that Sarkhan Vol has leveled up to Sarkhan the Mad. Pretty handy to tank through a Day of Judgement, though 2/2 isn't exactly a ton of board presence; looks fairly good with Siege-Gang Commander.

A proud part of my Lyzolda, the Blood Witch EDH deck. With sacking the Bomber, you end up with 4 combat damage, 4 ping damage, 2 cards, and 4 creatures (which you can sack for 8 more damage). So, 16 damage and 2 cards for a 3cc common?

Part of a cycle of two-shard creatures. List cuz I'm cool like that.
Kathari Bomber-Jund/Grixis-Goblin tokens and unearth
Etherium Abomination-Grixis/Esper-Unearth on an artifact creature
Ethercaste Knight-Esper/Bant-Artifact creature with Exalted
Sigiled Behemoth-Bant/Naya-Exalted on a creature with a power of five
Godtracker of Jund-Naya/Jund-"power 5+" ability, and dragons. I feel Gorger Wurm might have been better (Power of 5 and has devour) but Godtracker's flavor text fits the cycle.

I find the flavor of this card amusing.
It's a bird-man who, upon suicide-crashing into your foe, explodes into two goblins.
...WHAT!?

Can provide a whole 6 bodies for Greater Gargadon. Not bad, although the fact that you need to be doing something tricky with it to make it worthwhile leaves it a casual card.
Still, I admire the flavour and mechanical thought that's gone into this as a common. Reminds me of Ravnica.

it's a black/red-colored 2/2 flyer for three mana, but the downside is that you have to sacrifice him for the Dragon Fooder effect. Would be a great card if you had the choice, but like this it's not a great deal. the unearth cost isn't too cheap either...
Yet since he doesn't have the little "if you do" clause, you can apparently sacrifice him for something different as well and still get two goblins.

No, you're wrong about the "if you do..." thing. It clearly states that he provides dragon fodder and is sacrificed when he does combat damage to an opponent. This does NOT mean that you can use a different sacrifice choice on him and still get the dragon fodder.
