This card becomes waayyy more useful with training grounds. :)

With landfall, its ability will be more useful then normally, but kinda expensive ability otherwise.

I'm guessing this will be used a lot in EDH. It's comparable to Journeyer's Kite but in creature form. The extra gets you a land in play tapped rather than in your hand.

A decent EDH card. Rampant growth on a stick is pretty good. Way too slow for anything else though.

My fav is Skyshroud Ranger for lands, but this one may be useful in 5 color G.

4 mana is too expensive for a tapped land.

It can be useful as a combo with landfall or Training Grounds as pointed out by OutlawD1 and Ph1005. Other than combos however, this card is really hard to play. Do you really want 4 mana tied up every turn fetching a land? It seems better just to use Cultivate to grab your lands one turn and be done with it.
And also as Pinto331 said, it's not even good in commander. The bottom line is that, barring some kind of specific combo, there are just better ways to accomplish whatever goal you have in mind for this card.

I have to say... this is probably the most androgynous creature in the game. I think it has boobs, but I also think it has a slightly masculine face... so I remain confused.
Professor Oak would be very confused as well.

i actually think this card is rather good, because for 4 mana, you can at anytime its untapped grab ANY type of land, not just forest, and basic land. which can be a life saver for multi-colored decks, and while some spells for 3 mana may put a land into play ONCE, this care can be used every turn.
