Blind Zealot is a decent remake of this card you should most probably play instead.
...unless you are crazy enough to play thrull tribal, that is.

there are much, much better removal spells for 3 mana, but then again, they dont act as 2/2's when you dont need them.

Actually it's more than Doom Blade. Bury meant that the creature couldn't be regenned and this card will hit any creature , regardless of color.
