Better than Black Knight for Cleric status. 4/5.

I'll give you one good reason these are better than Black Knight and Knight of Stromgald:
Summon Clerics.

Protection from White is the best ability a creature can have in Legacy. Combine that with First Strike and 'firebreathing' to make use of your Dark Rituals later game... Whenever I wanna play my mono-black-aggro deck I am wrestling with whether or not to put these and Knight Of Stromgald (remember, Runed Halo!) or Nantuko Shade. There is the expression 'Dies to removal'. Although, the weight of Nantuko barrelling into your opponent's face conventional wisdom is that the lack of first strike and protection from- dont matter if you can close the game quicker. Im not so sure. Nantuko doesn't 'stick'. This is a fine option as a budget Nantuko or ourtight replacement.

Very nasty back in the day, these guys came out fast and hit hard, often following up devastating discard like Hypnotic Specter and Hymn To Tourach. Nice in Necropotence decks, too. Buzzsaw shield for the win!

this artwork rules. i used to sit around as a 10-year old staring at my copy of this card with no f-ing clue what it did until my cousin taught me how to play. even after that, this card was always in my deck because of how much of a bad motherfather it was.

Black Knight is better but u cant use for Dark Supplicant's effect to bring out Order of the Ebon Hand's dark master Scion of Darkness.
