Could you imagine this card vs. Chain Reaction or Comet Storm or for that matter any fireball type cards, i was just thinking type 2 and all, and for 1 mana. 3/5

If you know your opponent is playing with red then refraction trap might be a better choice. For example you can redirect 3 dmg from a lightning bolt on Chandra's Spitfire and kill it. Harm's way is not enough for that.

" Nice to have in sideboard vs red especially vs earthquakes. 4 creatures on board + earthquake for 3 = 12 damage back to opponent.

Unfortunately no..... under rule 615.7 the last sentence said " Such effects count only
the amount of damage; the number of events or sources dealing it doesn’t matter." That simply mean that when you cast refraction trap, you have to choose wich permenants will have damage prevented and how much damage for each.

Harm way that prevent 3 damage for 4 mana, not that good, but if it's agains a red deck, might be worth a space in the side deck, just be careful since this one does PREVENT damage while Harm way change the target of the damage. So your can't refraction trap a 6+ Banefire while you can Harm way it.

Much less efficient than Harm's Way of course, but still a solid and versatile trick for sealed and draft. I love Eye for an Eyes that can hit creatures :) 3/5

not bad for sealed & draft. as a friend was kind enough to point out, even hard-cast it makes for some very effective combat tricks. at least 3/5
