@TreeTrunkMaster: There are several reasons why I like this card more then Reckless Charge. Because of its Evoke cost, it becomes Pseudo-Reckless charge when you need it, without the flashback of course. Except the main difference between this and Reckless is that This can come out as a 4/2 Haste, or 2/2 with a Buff 2 effect, OR you can use it with evoke to give something +2/+0/Haste until the end of the turn.
And being an elemental creature, it can be targeted with Cavern of Souls ability. That means that every Evoke creature becomes uncountable TURN ONE! Because of the ruling on Primal Beyond, I am guessing that this Mana can be used on Evoke Costs as well as other alternative costs like the Rogues Prowl ability.
That means, that EVERY Evoke creature gains "This card is Uncountable" as an ability.... That is the difference between creature vs. spells when it comes to Evoke. Their evoke cost might be simil... (see all)

The first time i saw someone use a blink to get around the evoke sacrifice, I thought it seemed a little fishy, but i let it pass. If you review the rules, specifically 702.72a, it's very clear that the sacrifice is PART of the casting cost, not a triggered effect. Failure to sacrifice the creature makes the evoke fizzle and the creature goes to the graveyard. It doesn't matter if the creature leaves the battlefield, it still must be sacrificed to fulfill the evoke cost. Any judge that misses this obviously hasn't read the rules closely enough.

The ability is triggered when it enters the battlefield- in order for the ability to even be going on the stack, the creature has to already be in play (and thus a legal target). In fact, since the evoke-sacrifice ability is also an 'enters the battlefield' ability and since you control both, you could choose to stack them so that the acolyte targets itself just before it dies from being evoked. Why you should want to is beyond me. (For details, see the Lorwyn FAQ section 502.74a)
