I'm not sure why hurricane got into rotation before this card. Its an ability that screams red. It goes nicely with pyroclasm and volcanic fallout, and picks up the slack.
Great card, with excellent art.

I wonder why they went back to the Portal art for M10?

i run a playset of these in my burn deck. the fact it doesn't hit flyers helps with chandra's spitfire ability. Love it, definately a 5/5 in my books. and it even hits planeswalkers.

The closest thing besides Chain Reaction that red will get to Wrath of God.

About time they printed it with flavor text.

Glad to see this classic red card return. IMO it should never have been taken out of the core set.

good burn/board sweep. Drawbacks: can't hit fliers(that's what targeted burn/destruction is for), burns you (in red, you should be dealing out more damage faster as it is, no problem). 4.5/5

@Joseph: Did you mean Soulbright Flamekin?
Had fun with Hurricane when it was in Tenth, but Earthquake is the genuine article. Blowing creatures up is far more red than green anyways. This card is an autoinclude for my Soldier Sligh deck that I plan to build.

Goodbye nasty critters, u need wings to evade this... not to mention that you would deal damage to everyone... Great in multiplayer games...
