Edit: Okay, there may be hope for blue yet. Just give me back Mana Leak and I'll be happy.

True_Mumin,
When I started playing, black was best.
then green
then red
then blue
now white.
it swings and cycles.
Get used to it, it happens in every exclusion based game.
Don't take it peronally, Wizards aren't out to get you, they are attempting to redress the balance, but overcompensating with white.
Is it because you can no longer do that which you used to, so what? I remember the days of turn 3 defeats at the hands of red decks so very powerful that it is almost unbelievable. At least white deck do not achieve this.
Stop ranting and do instead what any true gamer does, adapt and learn.
I've said my piece and will say no more.

Best of the basic lands, for casual play. Alot of the really quirky cards were nifty and blue.

A fine building block towards an aggravating loss for your opponent.

I don't think that white is best anymore... it's probably blue, what with Jace, the Mind Sculptor and Roil Elemental.

Consistently the best turn one play in the game.
