No one would ever run this without it being a landfall deck, so I don't think activating the trigger will be a concern. Harrow with him and Rampaging Baloths out, even play a Goblin Bushwhacker for faster salt. Watch other player scowl in anger.

Harrow is an instant. Remember that.

If you build your deck around landfall, this can easily become 12/12 or larger on the first turn it attacks. There are just so many cards that allow you to trigger the landfall ability that it is quite possible to make it 20/20 the turn it attacks. The trample ability pretty well makes it a game ender if your opponent has no removal.

Have four in my landfall deck.
If i play the turn right, i can get up to five landfall triggers - that means that if he's equipped with an adventuring gear or two, he can get up to a 34/34 with trample real quick

This dude is soooo good with scapeshift late game! He wins games! Think about it, you got a well built green deck that gets out 8 to 10 land out and it's getting pretty late, you have a few small mana creatures left and they have a Baneslayer and a Frost Titan (for example). You play Mr. Baloth here, then sac all your lands to scapeshift, bring in 8 or 9 lands, and give him +32 or so hahaha seems damn good. and if you have two out??? It's over for sure.

This guy is like the Hulk - big, green and he gets really out of hand, really quickly. Fortunately he's not indestructible. ;) Great card.

Awesome in limited. Not sure it will see much play in constructed. Still, easily becomes 12/12 Trample or bigger for a turn when used with fetch lands, Harrow, or Rampant Growth.

Man I am LOVING the beast-heaviness of this green deck. I'm really not a fan of elves, much prefer beasts, and finally they're getting the awesomeness they deserve.
