I second the EDH suggestion. I run this in my Mayael the Anima EDH deck, with a total of 23 fatties each with CMCs between 6 and 12. It's a great one-sided board wipe, better than Lavalanche in EDH because it wipes ALL your opponent's boards.
I think it deserves a higher rating than 3, maybe 3.5 or 3.75. (if only we could have more nuanced ratings....) I think it's closer to 3.75 because although its use is limited, it's just so excellent at what it does. So I guess I have to give it a 4, reluctantly..

I rated it low because of the casting cost and the fact that all the Eldrazi are too damn expensive (monetarily). In sum: it's a rare that requires other rares or mythic rares to be descent, hence it is only good if you have cash to spend. A truly good card should combo off commons, indeed it should combo off as many cards as possible.

If it dealt damage to the player like Lavalanche does, it would be very good. But there are probably less expensive and more reliable ways to clear your opponent's side of the board. Also:
@Osmodious: Revealing Emrakul is not going to be any more effective than revealing any decently-sized creature 99% of the time.
@blindthrall: "Even if you're not showing a big one..." ...uh huh huh

I was lucky enough to pull one of these and a Foil Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre at the prerelease, along with Pathrazer of Ulamog and Ulamog's Crusher. I won every game I was able to play it.
