Unsummon is better, but I like how this can target anything.

Also known as "GTFO". Useful for bouncing immense creatures, Planeswalkers, lands, Eldrazi... seriously. It is not Boomerang, but is equally useful for only 1 more CC. Underestimate the bounce at your peril :D

BenUffindell summed it well. It's very good in rote limited. Outside of it, however, it's a crappy boomerang, and if you want a bounce for standard, into the roil is probably better.

Strictly worse than Consign to Dream.

Yay? Now I have to wait until turn three to start bouncing thier lands. I'm sad. I want Boomerang back. But hey, this is less color specific. Great for .

I'd almost always rather have Into the Roil, unless I want to set them back one turn on land.

One time I used this and Resounding Wave to constantly bounce a Jund player's second land. By the time he actually could keep lands in play, I had two Sphinx of Jwar Isle and a Wall of Denial on the board. Many luls occured.

I'd much rather use Into the Roil or Aether Tradewinds.
That said, if you play blue/green and a mana critter survives turn 1, it's a turn 2 land bounce.

I agree wholeheartedly with BenUffindell. Given the set, it's an amazing card and it's way too underrated for what it can do for you in limited. I know I've had my share of losses against this card in drafts and sealed. And in casual constructed, it's lulzy with Bloodbraid Elf. "Bounce that tri-land why don't you."
