It's nothing to write home about, but hey! why he's ranked so low? +2/+0 often matters (tip: we've got infect and red "power matters" critters to work with) and he's gray ogre himself. Vast majority of cards aren't playable in standard, anyway. Live with it.

I don't understand the hostility towards this guy. Yeah, he won't see Constructed play, but lots of cards don't. He's quite decent in limited - 2/2 for 3, AND a +2/0 boost for someone besides. He won't be the backbone of a deck, but he's a decent utility and can be a pretty useful guy when used right.

Decent in limited, not mind blowing, but can generally turn your myr into something that could kill their bigger creature, or give a nice bonus to your flyer, and its usually a late pick so if you don't have anything better in the pack, then its worth while.
will never see any play in standard....

A bit much for only +2/+0 until end of turn.

In what situation would this EVER be preferable to Goblin Bushwhacker? Same idea, miserable execution this time around.

Playable every now and then in limited (and maybe shaman tribals or something) but bad everywhere else.
