I think this is my favorite Counterspell version. I would say the Tempest version, but you can't get a shiny one. The art on the JvC version is spectacular, but too specific; I'm not Jace.
Actually, check that; Dom!'s art on the DCI Judge Gift Card makes that one my favorite version. Can't link to that...wish they'd put the promos up on Gatherer.

Personally, I like the Ice Age version the best, but that might be because that's the one I remember seeing most when I started.

Blue's Dark Ritual (in spirit, not in effect), any blue deck that doesn't have four of these in it is not complete.
