It's nice that it doesn't have to tap to activate its ability, but the activation cost is still far too high. A version with an activation cost of WhiteWhite or 1White would have been nice.

Completely reasonably costed.

Considering how powerful the shade abilty is on an aggresively costed creature can be, a 'target creature' gets shade would be nuts.

taking up an uncommon slot? how disappointing.

this is a nice limited card, but I don't think it has any place in duel decks.
