It's a white Fog. Yeah, it costs one more than Holy Day, but the versatility of being to cycle it when you're in a good position can be the difference between a dead card, and dropping that spot removal you needed, or the land drop you had to get for the bomb waiting in your hand.
This is a good card. It's not game-breakingly good. It's not the sort of good that gets banned, that gets called OP in tournament play. It's the sort of good that pervades many of Magic's beloved classics. It's Serra Angel good. It's Shock good.
It's just a good, fair card.
I rate it 5/5 not because it's "better" than Baneslayer Angel, but because these are the sorts of cards I like to see printed. They're the cards I like to play with and against.

@jonnyrue2u, ya, but this is white, and thus works in my BW controll deck. i only have 2 though, as it is usually not the perfered fog effect to have.

I prefer Holy Day, since a deck that needs the ability to prevent this combat damage will need the main effect more than it needs the cycle. However, they're both solid cards, and the right sort of deck might even get away with 4 of each.

This card was made for turbofogs. And it's better than Holy Day, because you can cycle it if your opponent runs controll deck. 4/5
I like it how people can turn bad cards into good cards by creating decks around them.
