Rickyozbun, yes, enchantments do stay on the field until cancelled. As long as you pay the upkeep each turn it stays around and gives you a 0/1 Thrull at the end of each turn. I like to play this in a deck with Lord of the Pit (obviously) and Deathbringer Liege.

I use Lord of the Pit, soul exchange, wicked reward, and ravenous vampire with the breeding pit. Works really good. Ravenous vampire is from Mirage. A 3/3 flying. Costs 3 colorless and 2 swamp to cast. During your upkeep, sacrifice a nonartifact creature put +1/+1 counter on vampire or tap ravenous vampire. Wicked reward-sacrifice creature, target creature gets +4/+2. Its an instant

One of the better cards to come out of Fallen Empires. Actually, thrulls in general were the most solid thing to come out of Fallen Empires.
Anyway, this enchantment combo'd with Bad Moon served as part of black's answer to White Weenie decks for quite some time. Most black decks will be made better by including this card, particularly those that need frequent sacrifices.

This is a handy little token generator. Good for making sacrifices.
My question is this...
When are they going to make someone who buffs up the thrulls? It should've been Mr.Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder. Come on WotC, we all know that would be cool.
4/5 Because I think thrulls are the coolest creature type next to Demons.

This thing is completely outclassed today.... Awakening Zone is one thing that comes to mind. 1cc less, no drawback, and ramps your mana as well... Gos to show how much the game has changed and how bad this thing is today.
