The art is simply incredible - this may well be among my favourite pieces in the entire game. Also, bonus points for the clever flavour text.
You have to be careful pairing her up with flyer-destroying effects like Whirlwind and Hurricane, though, since your opponent can play her ability, too.

Plays best with green, with its many ways of hurting flying creatures. Plays well with red, too, which also does anti-flying.

One of the few Mongers who had good in-color support for the block. The mere threat of your Rishadan Pirates (Cutpurse, Footpad, and Brigand) pretty much made sure opponents avoided using the Seafaring She-Monger because you would probably force a sac on them during your second Main Phase to retaliate. And the blue player always had the extra land on the field because they Hoodwinked the opponents land back to their hands every single T2 as a way to get ahead, so they always had the extra mana for the Mongers and Rishadan ports in order to stay ahead.
Masques could be a very cruel set if you didn't have any of the "free spells" like unmask.
