This card was sadly underpowered, even in its day. Why print cards like this?

The cost seems way off because, back when this card was printed, Red didn't have much flying - cheap flying anyway. There were only a few - Things like Goblin Balloon Brigade, Bird Maiden , Roc Of Kher Ridges and the Dragon Whelp were pretty much it on the cheap side. Maybe the Nalathni Dragon...

Holy Richard Garfield, it's a drake so weak he can't handle a simple Firebreathing.

Wait wait wait wait. A 1/2 flyer with firebreathing that has a cap on how strong it can become through firebreathing. At least with cards like Dragon Whelp you can spend more than the cap for firebreathing, they just die if you do, this card is just kind of stupid.

Because a 2/2 flyer for 1RR would have broken the game, apparently.

1 red less and it might be playable, with a higher cap.

It's no stretch of the imagination as to why Storm Crow has a much higher rating than this.

Its like a high maintenance, prissy wind drake.
