Do these landfall cards really need their own rule? Seems like this one would get along perfectly fine without it saying Landfall on it.
Its not different than any of the other "Whenever _____" cards out there.

Kind of a reverse Mercadian Atlas.

I found this card surprisingly powerful. Late-game, when you're running out of gas, the 2 is barely noticeable. Drawing two cards a turn makes it easy to hit landfall almost every turn. And you can tap the new land for mana, so it feels more like paying 1.
Those extra draws really do ramp up your mana. After a few turns, you'll have more mana even after paying 2 than you would have had without this.

Huh, never noticed this was actually rare. It sat in my green-blue ramp deck for so long I never really took it out to inspect it. It just held fast so hard.

Seriously guys, try using this in a proper land-ramp deck. It's wonderful and sorts out any dead draws.
