oh I remember the good old days when we played this with Tawnos Coffin to breed an army, and or a fat Tetravus.

This is quite possibly the coolest card to combo with Doubling Season. Sure, modular creatures may be more effective, but they're not cooler.

So, yeah, you've got 4 Doubling Seasons. You also happen to have Coat of Arms. To make matters worse, you also have 4 paradox hazes on yourself, and, what the heck, 4 of these.

So, the first doubling season changes the 4/4 tetra to a 7/7. The second changes him to a 13/13, the third to a 25/25, the fourth to a 49/49. x2x2x2x2 = x16

Upkeep 1: Stage 1: You get rid of 48 +1/+1s, and in turn get 768 1/1s.
Upkeep 1: Stage 2: You get rid of the 768 1/1s and get 4 12288/12288s.
Upkeep 2: Stage 1: You get rid of +12288/+12288 and get 196608 1/1s.
Upkeep 2: Stage 2: You get rid of the 196608 1/1s and get 4 3145728/3145728s.
Upkeep 3: Stage 1: 50331648 1/1s.
Upkeep 3: Stage 2: Four 805306368/805306368s.
Upkeep 4: Stage 1: 12884901888 1/1s.
Upkeep 4: Stage 2: Four 206158430208/206158430208s.
Upkeep 5: Stage 1: 3298534883328 1/1s. To be precise, there's 13194139533316 1/1s. Of course, there also happens to be Coat of Arms on the field. So there's 1319413... (see all)

If the Tetravus is destroyed when the Tetravites are off the card, they are not destroyed, they are just orphaned.

:( poor Tetravites without their parent.
