But it's not a fun mechanic in practice. This thing is terrible at attacking, so you may as well play a Wall of Denial or a removal spell. Who wants to watch their 3-mana creature sit around doing nothing all game? It's a real let-down.

Wall of Denial doesn't prevent your opponent from attacking at all, since it has no power, it just essentially prevents some damage to you.
This will kill attackers.

Not a bad card for a defensive deck that wants to do a little damage too.

Obviously much better with a vigilance granting enchantment out.
