I still wish these things could have swatted fliers (like a Spider) or had Trample (to match the flavor text.)

At the time of printing, Roc of Kher Ridges was strictly better than this fella. However due to tribal support for Giants nowadays, that's no longer true. Now Roc is just mostly better.

There's been quite a few Red 3/3 for 4 mana over the years. Pretty much a standard creature back in the day. It hits sort of hard and it can take a few hits.
