Flexible enough mana cost, and a fair enough drawback. Slightly better than Goblin Raider's stats, though its not a goblin.
I did have a Goblin Raider in my deck when I started playing Magic, I'm not ashamed, and he did his fair share of work I must say.

Unless you were Green or White, you usually didn't get 2/2's for 2 Mana. The drawback is irritating but it fits perfectly with the cowardly orcs. A nice, fun card for the time.
