This card served is functions just fine. First, it hearkened back to Fungusaur. Second, it did sliver-y things. Third, it had the same name and creature type.

Always wished it was called Fungusliver.

This is one of the stronger slivers, its like vigor, but less unfair.

With Hivestone support...
Hmmm... This could improve Walls a nice amount, for Blocking.
Indomitable Ancients would probably love this card too.

Yet another creature whose name is the same as his creature type. I like to see these, it's kind of fun when you spot one.

Use with Psionic Sliver, just make sure your slivers have at least four toughness first.

@ sir_dawr
Can you imagine the CMC they'd make an indestructible sliver?
It'd be so nuts though, you're right I'd love to see that.

Use with Pestilence or Pyrohemia

if it was blocked by a 1/3 first striker it would take 1 dmg, get a +1/+1 counter and kill the 1/3 with normal damage.
All in all I'v been disappointed by this card. it just doesn't seem worth it's cmc or rarity to me. most of the time I'd rather have a muscle sliver.
