I'd be more than happy to run this as my 1-drop in a Thallids deck. All the thallids have a sac-a-saproling mechanic, my favourite being Psychotrope Thallid.

My black deck uses Gatekeeper of Malakir, Consuming Vapors, and Geth's Verdict to eliminate enemy creatures, making this a really handy one-drop.

An extremely good one-drop for black. If you build around it, it either becomes huge, or it draws removal. A one-drop that draws removal is always a good thing.
